Thank you for your link to drunken honeyed figs.... I appreciate your time Susan
Great appetizer: easy! Slice in halve, length-wise. Make indent in middle & fill with goat cheese of choice. Add drop of high-quality balsamic, then wrap in prosciutto. Broil until prosciutto is crisp, about 2 minutes. Yum!
This sounds fabulous! Thanks Susan

I love this recipe (minus the parsley) http://www.foodandwine...
Wrap in prosciutto, grill over the coals, place on a bed of arugula and drizzle with honey.
You can use them on pizza. Make a pizza dough and roll out as normal. brush with olive oil and top with slices of figs and bits of goat cheese and proscuitto. You can also add some fresh thyme leaves if you like. Or, as an alternative try fresh figs, Gorgonzola, and walnuts.
Maedi, how long do you like to cook these pizzas and at what temperature?
There was a thread on this recently. If you search the hotline (as opposed to recipes) for "ideas for fresh figs", it should come up. Some terrific recipes are there to add to the list above.
