I am going to make the zucchini tian posted as a genius recipe for a dinner party friday (yum!) and want to do as much as possible thursday. it says make ahead. how much of the recipe can i do thursday? friday afternoon? also, if i use basmati rice instead of "white" should i par cook it the same amount of time?

You could do almost everything the day before, and just hold off on the final step, topping with cheese and baking it off Friday afternoon or evening. Rice time should be the same. Hope you like it!
