added 7 months agoYou could add bourbon to the batter, but another approach is to make a bourbon sugar syrup and brush the cake between the layers with it (like you might do with a whiskey cake).

added 7 months agoThis "one-bowl" chocolate cake is really delicious. (Made it many times as recipe tester for Martha Stewart Living.) If you want to add the bourbon into the batter I would recommend between 3-4 tablespoons

It was in the original question. "One bowl" is a nickname for it because you can make it all in one bowl
