bought a turkey last your at thanksgiving never used the 20lb butterball it was kept in my basment deep freeze can i use it this yr?

Food safety wise it should be OK, taste wise could be dodgy. Product starts to go rancid in the freezer after 6 months. I grew up in the frozen food business and know this from experience.

Yes - i made one last week from last year - it was fine
