added 6 months agoThe Gluten Free Girl iPad app is a great resource for GF Thanksgiving recipes. If you don't have an iPad, she has an article on making GF stuffing here: http://glutenfreegirl.com...

added 6 months agoI'm allergic to gluten and every year I make a stuffing starting with my recipe for cornbread, http://www.food52.com/recipes.... You can use this cornbread in just about any stuffing recipe when it calls for bread!

This looks amazing - it has a gluten free bread option: http://food52.com/recipes...
I regularly make GF stuffing to include a family member who is gluten intolerant. I use an identical "regular" recipe, just substituting GF bread (available in the freezer section of most supermarkets; sometimes available in the fresh section). Taste the bread as you may want to adjust the seasonings (for example, last year we celebrated Thanksgiving a long way from home. The local GF bread -- from Trader Joe's, FWIW -- was both sweeter and blander than "regular" bread. So, I simply increased the sage and other seasonings and it all worked out really well).

I just saw gluten free bread cubes(not corn bread) at Whole Foods that could be used with any stuffing recipe.
