A question about a recipe: Slow Roast Duck

I have a question about the recipe "Slow Roast Duck" from merrill. One question about instruction #3: I understand that I have to pierce the duck all over at the onset, but when I re-pierce every 30 minutes, do I re-pierce the entire bird again? Or do I only re-pierce the breast once at the two-hour mark? Many thanks!

Just pierce it wherever you can without actually flipping it over - breast, legs, etc.
