Photos with recipes

It looks like most of the photos uploaded with recipes have a height:width ratio of 1:1.5. Is there some consensus about this ratio? Or does it just happen to fill the maximum area?

The photos we currently add to the site are 620x413 (pixels -- about 1:1.5). Not sure why, but this mirrors the old 4x6-inch photo ratio too.
