What can be used to substitute coconut water?

The curry recipe I'm using is calling for coconut water but I don't have any. Is there anything else i can use?

You can u water with maybe a tsp of sugar

If you have access to shreaded coconut. Step a cup of that in 2 cups of water and strain it.
Coconut water is a light flavor, so it probably won't make a big diffrence if you just used the water and sugar.

Nothing substitutes for coconut, coconut water, coconut butter etc. Don't substitute, make a different recipe and when you have time to go to the store experiment with coconut.
