I used creamy horseradish instead of fresh in a beet salad recipe and the horseradish tastes too strong. Any suggestions for tempering the taste?

The recipe also calls for lemon juice and mustard.

Would try a little more lemon juice if you've already added the recipe's amt and maybe a 1/4 tsp sugar

If it's a creamy dressing, I might add a bit more sour cream or yogurt.
