What is a good wine pairing for trout?

What kind of trout? Is is farm-raised or fresh? If Rainbow farm-raised I would go for something light and crisp like a Sauvignon Blanc. If it is wild, I would go with something with a little more body like a Chardonnay. If it is Lake Trout I would go with a Sauvignon Blanc.

As per earlier answers it depends on the trout preparation. A Washington State Riesling could also be could.
