A question about a recipe: Curried Lentil Dip

I have a question about the recipe "Curried Lentil Dip" from safenervine. Can you use light coconut milk in this? And if so, will you still get the separated coconut butter from it? Or is it just better to use full fat?

I have done this with light coconut milk for frosting before. Should work out just fine for a dip a well
