Urgent! Can I use old fashioned oats for raw oat flakes?

I am making a raw granola bar that calls for raw oat flakes. Can I substitute old-fashioned oats? Do I need to put them through the food processor at all?

I don't know what raw oat flakes are but a lot of granola recipes call for old fashioned oats. They should be more than fine.
