freezing jam

Can it be frozen? I know it can keep in the fridge for a while, but for reasons not worth getting into, I am trying to avoid keeping it in there.

Are you referring to jam you make or canned, store bought? If you are making it, there are many recipes for 'freezer jam'. If it is canned, store bought my question is why freeze when it will last forever and maybe two days? If it is already opened store bought, it should freeze fine in a freezer bag.
