I need to make charoset and have apples and walnuts but no "sweet wine". Does anyone have suggestions in what to use instead?

Do you have regular red wine? You could probably use that and add a little sugar.

I've used Port in a pinch - definitely not kosher, if that's an issue for you. But worked well.
