help can I substitute milk for cream in a vodka sauce... unfortunately is is 1%... I have another sauce if it is not a good idea....

Won't be terrible, but it'll be light vodka sauce. I'd add some butter, just to give it a little more creaminess. I'm guessing you don't have half n half? But if you do, use that.

When you substitute milk for cream, you have to be careful not to overheat it. Boiled milk in sauces curdles.
