Can apple butter be canned like a normal jam recipe?

I want to make a large batch of apple butter and ship it across the country. Can it be canned and sealed as is, or will there be issues with it preserving?

Yes. I've canned it both boiling and pressure cooker method. The pressure cooker made a better seal in my opinion, but the boiling method works well too.
