No. The eggs, cheese and pasta water make a wonderful creamy sauce as is!

No, no, no and no! Cream is the sissy method. You might want to consider using pasteurized eggs but that is as far as I would be willing to tamper with it. The way it's supposed to work is that the steaming hot pasta "cooks" the eggs. Simple and delicious. And Calvin Trillin believes we should be serving it at Thanksgiving instead of turkey.
