My traditional drinks are usually gin martini in the summer and manhattan or negroni in the winter. (some overlap)

The drink that seems to be taking New England by storm is the Warm Apple Pie; a mixture of hard cider and Fireball Whiskey: http://rogerwilco.net/beer/warm-apple-pie-drink-angry-orchard-cider-and-fireball-whiskey/

I got the recipe for this from Food 52 but haven't been able to find it again to give the author credit: one part maple syrup, one part Maker's Mark, two parts apple cider. Shake and enjoy! I have made this drink many times for fall gatherings and it has always been welcomed.

For fall get togethers we keep apple cider in a crock pot and a bottle of Peach Schnapps next to the crock pot. You can put as much Schnapps in your drink as you like. It is not fancy but it is a delicious warm fall drink!
