Kaiser Cake Pan

I have a vintage tinned Kaiser Turks Head tube cake pan that has rusted in a few spots. Is it still OK to bake in it?

The pan is fluted, similar to a Bundt pan, but the rusty spots are small, small enough that buttered parchment paper could cover the spots. Thanks for a great answer!

I would put buttered parchment over the rusted spots. Hope this is helpful!
