What type of salad can be made from hotdogs

Forgot... if they are good hot dogs (Nathan's, etc.) you could use them as a sausage substitute as an addition to a Nicoise salad. It's nice if they are grilled (and have some grill marks - even from a toaster oven) rather than boiled. And them sliced on the diagonal, in longer pieces vs round coins.

It may be past your deadline, but you slice the dogs in coins and add them to some excellent Mac & Cheese (like adding ham or sausage chunks). It's "salad" in the sense of being a jumble.

Try Penne Pasta salad, an Italian style dressing with some sweet chilly, and peppers, fresh blanched green beans, and tomato.
Makes me hungry just thinking about it.
