growing adzuki beans?

Can I eat adzuki bean leaves. They look a bit like a cowpea, and I know I can eat those leaves. Are they a cowpea?

Anyone ever grown adzuki beans before? I have some left over from last year that I thought would be fun to plant in the garden.

Hi trampledbygeese, this is by no means a scientific response, but I checked with some Japanese friends, and had my husband ask his Japanese colleagues, and no one had ever heard of eating adzuki bean leaves before.
