Rye flour measurement in sables?

I'm totally confused here. I thought 2 cups rye flour was about 230 grams, not 2 1/2 cups. I'd like to make these cookies but don't want to add an extra 1/2 c flour to the batter mistakenly. Anyone know which measurement, the grams or cups to use here?

Measuring flour is tricky. APF and rice flour may have different weights. If you have a scale - measure by the grams. If not go by their cup measure -- spooned and leveled into your measuring cups
