Question about Soy Lecithin

I was wondering if I could buy the capsules from the health food store then break them up to use the powder inside. I really wanted to make a foam (garlic butter, horseradish...not sure!) this evening. Or is there an alternative to soy lecithin thats easier to obtain for a foam. Thanks for any help!

You should be fine to break open capsules, just as long as it's the powder form of soy lecithin and not the liquid form.

Most grocery stores carry it! It's usually near potato flour.
