I have leftover chili. What other dishes can I turn it into?

Tamale pie! Spread it in a cast iron pan and top with cornbread dough mixed with cheddar cheese. Yum!

Chili mac! Mac and cheese + chili + baked until bubbly. Stir your leftover chili into your baked macaroni and cheese recipe before you bake it.

Cowboy risotto. Stir leftover chili into risotto. It's a thing.

Maybe a little repetitive - but I make a tamale pie with leftover vegetarian chilli. Make a simple cornmeal crust. Add cheddar cheese to it or add shredded cheese as another layer of flavor before topping with cornmeal crust. Sliced black olives on the crust make things pretty.

Frito Chili Pie! Chili dogs of course. Or you can plop it into some queso and turn it into dip. I really like the shepard's pie idea - you could also make the topping more cornbread or polenta-ish for a really twisted shepherds pie (vaqueros pie? Hmmm ...)

I've also bagged in small volume bags and saved it for use on baked potatoes or coney (hot) dogs.

I love left over chili on baked potatoes, both sweet potatoes and russets. With a little cheese to melt on and some pico de gallo or hot sauce, it's a meal.

Sloppy Joes if you cook it down a little. Kid food that I love. I would say freeze but I just lose things in the freezer and they are never heard from again.

Meatloaf. Or cook in a frying pan and top with an egg, to cook in the heated chili (like shakshuka).

I always just freeze leftover chili since I cook mine all day and use so many ingredients, but it's also great on chips or eggs.

Add to nachos. Or put in skillet, drop in a few eggs, and cook the eggs in the chili. Or use it as a pasta sauce. Or put it in a casserole dish, top with mashed potatoes, and make a chili shepherds pie. Or put it in some zipper bags and freeze for the days when you want chili but don't have time to make it.

Shepherds pie is a great idea. Making extra chili just to have that.

Tostadas, burritos. Might make a good topping for a taco salad. I also like it as a filling for an omelette.
