I prefer a white cake...its lighter and tends to soak up more liquid. Its also less rich, so all of the richness from the milk can come through.

You're right. I should have said white, not yellow. I had a yellow mug cake last night and had it on the brain.

Topped with chocolate ice cream and a drizzle of homemade sweetened condensed milk all while watching Gone Girl. Kinda heaven on earth. :)
