Can fluid drained off cottage cheese be used for anything else?

Don't know about cottage cheese, but I sometimes use the liquid from sour cream as part of the liquid in pie crusts.

My mom likes to drink the liquid I get from yogurt, she says it's really healthy and tasty :)

Think of it like leftover milk or buttermilk.
Mix it with eggs that you will scramble, add to quiche filling, smoothies, soups and the like
