Would it be best to use full-flavor molasses or mild?

I always use mild molasses in this recipe. You can use full-flavor but I wouldn't suggest it unless you really like the flavor of molasses (in which case, go for it!).

I haven't made these particular muffins, but I do make bran muffins all the time. Use what you like.
