For Amanda's foolproof method of cooking rice in the oven, do I use the same proportion of rice to water as the reg stovetop method? what oven temp? I am using extra long grain.

Do you not let it sit for five minutes before you take the little off to fluff it?

I’m excited to try your way. I’ve been struggling with my oven rice.

Rivka uses the technique in her Mujaddara recipe. She uses 1 cup jasmine rice, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1 & 1/2 cups water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, once boils cover and place in 400º F oven for 17 minutes. Remove from oven, uncover, and fluff with a fork.
