when do the first local (NJ) strawberries appear? Thinking about jam variations.....

My favorites come in June and then again in September. Phillips Farms, baby!

Abma's in Wyckoff has them starting late May. Not pick-your-own - much easier!

Terhune Orchards (my personal choice of pick ur own farms) has their crop of strawberries appearing around the third week of may.I guessing that Its end of May thru June
