How long will sealed chevre last?

I bought a sealed chevre at the store this weekend, but I'm going on vacation for 2 weeks. Will it last that long if I don't open it?

What is the package date?  I would start with that.  Chances are, the cheese will be ok for a bit past that, but you do need to be careful...
