yes, I do it all the time if I have more milk than I need.
You can freeze it, but imho you wouldn't want to drink it when you've thawed it out. the texture changes. It's fine for cooking/baking, though.
In my experience, if its organic whole milk it defrosts just fine....

added almost 2 years agoI've done it, too, and haven't had a problem. It's nice to come home from vacation and not have to go to the grocery store for milk right away.
I have frozen skim milk to take camping, and it tasted just fine (and made an excellent ice pack)
