Urgent! A question about a recipe: Crook's Corner's Green Peach Salad

I have a question about the recipe "Crook's Corner's Green Peach Salad" from Genius Recipes. Do I need to worry about the peaches browning? Should I cut them into acidified water first, then drain them and add the sugar and salt.

If you're cutting them just before salting and sugaring them, there shouldn't be any browning to worry about. (The ones in the recipe photo weren't pampered in any way before the sugar and salt phase.)
