A question about a recipe: Prune Coffee Cake

I have a question about the recipe "Prune Coffee Cake" from nannydeb.

My question: Where oh where can I find prunes with pits? My sole resource now is France, but I travel there a couple of times annually and also have to bring back salt, green lentils, cheese, saucison and presents for my grandchildren! Are they sold in the US?
