I'm with sdebrango. Never heard of this before. Can you share the recipe? That may help us understand and answer better

I guess it would depend what recipe you are using but I have never boiled either milk or cream before adding to a soup. I may warm it from time to time but have never heard of having to boil it. Anyone else heard of this?
