I'm now officially tired of TG leftovers. When you're stuffed & ready for life to resume its post-holiday normalcy, what do you cook?

This all sounds good! I made a mushroom dish today, we picnicked tonight- very low key. Veggies, fruit, simple whole foods. And I picked up a gorgeous bunch of collards today. Greens are good. A crunchy romaine-based salad has been my go-to lunch since TG. There's something about the water content in those leaves. A good digestif! Cheers!

I usually go to seafood to regain normalcy. I see a couple people say kale. Try a portugese kale soup - google any authentic recipe. It is great ... and healthy!

massaged kale salad with lemon tahini dressing, crisp apples to snack on, lots of hot herbal and green tea, roasted salmon and spinach later, shredded cabbage with ginger and toasted sesame oil, more hot herbal tea.

A great big salad with some beans, some corn, a nice tart vinaigrette . . .

I hear you both! My daughter and two of her old college friends are with me for dinner tonight and they requested my Basil Avocado Dip, broccoli, and dynmyo's Green Chili Posole http://www.food52.com/recipes/13566_green_chili_chicken_posole_soup

A lot of green and that is what they want!

I hear you, drbabs; nothing at all sounds appealing. I'm thinking of a wine and water dinner. ;)

Ugh, me too! I'm sick of food, actually. We're snacking on hummus and pita chips and raw crudites. That might be all I eat tonight. Maybe an egg tomorrow.
