Position: iOS Engineer
Join our tech team in NYC and help build the future of cooking!
Roles:
- Lead the development of our iOS experience for Food52 across iPhone and iPad
- Collaborate with the web application development team to design, deliver and maintain an API to serve a client side data model across both our web and mobile applications
Required Skills:
- Strong engineering background in algorithms, data structures, data modeling and software engineering
- Experience building iOS apps and ability to implement a best-in-class iOS user experience
- Deep knowledge of Objective-C and the iOS platform
- Optional: RubyMotion experience: if you have experience in Objective-C and iOS native apps and think RubyMotion is the right tool for the job, it’ll be your decision!

You are welcome to spend time learning the requisite skills on the job and start helping out. Want to help with our predictive models and always wanted to dive into Machine Learning? Take a coursera course and start pitching in!
