Give new life to old, storied objects.

When it comes to our home, we like collecting objects that have meaning and history -- so everything we bring inside is a deliberate, thoughtful choice to make our lives more organized, our kitchens more beautiful, and our houses cozier. When we came across these reclaimed sap buckets, we knew they'd be perfect for everything from storing kindling for the fireplace to organizing magazines.

These buckets have seen years of hard times collecting maple sap in Vermont -- they are real working buckets, used to tap the maple trees for the sap that is then boiled into that maple syrup we love so much. Because they're originally built for such rugged, outdoor work, they are exceptionally sturdy and can take serious wear and tear.

Meet the Maker

Vermont Farm Table

Burlington, VT
The company that would become Vermont Farm Table was started in a two-car garage in Shelburne, Vermont in 2008. Dustin Glasscoe, the 1st employee, combined his informal design education and his interest in craft to found a company dedicated to building high quality dining room tables from reclaimed and historic New England materials. Dustin was inspired by the beautiful wood he sourced in New England for basic house repair and noticed from the onset of Vermont Farm Table that high quality, functional, and robust furniture was hard to find. He had a vision for a warmer, cleaner, more approachable piece of furniture. One built using a blend of hand-selected reclaimed materials, balanced proportions, and non-toxic finishes. And so Vermont Farm Table was born.
