This unframed print harkens back to the 1890s, from the Café Anglais in Versailles, France. It's a real throwback: one of the menu items listed was Napoleon's lucky dish.
Sourced from Cool Culinaria: Cool Culinaria seeks to bring the vintage art of dining out back to life. So in the summer of 2012, Charles Baum, Barbara McMahon, and Eugen Beer started to collect menus from all sorts of establishments: restaurants, bars and saloons, cafes, diners, drive-ins, nightclubs and hotels. They physically and digitally repair any sort of damage and give us something beautiful to hang on our walls. Cheers to them for recognizing that menus are an art form too.
