Mango season starts, then why not a flaming MANGO? - pauljoseph —pauljoseph

Test Kitchen Notes

Warming spices and a boozy kick are perfect complements in pauljoseph's fruity flambéed dessert. The mango is enhanced with numerous international flavors, and is coated in just enough butter to make it rich. If you prep the mango beforehand everything comes together in a snap—perfect for entertaining. - broccolirose —broccolirose

Congrats on the EP. I'm picking up a mango today to make this for dessert! Do you think brandy would taste alright if I don't have a chance to pick up rum?

Diana Kennedy has a recipe like this that I make sometimes, very similar but has some lime juice that is delicious with the mango flavor. Great photo.
