Stuffed dates wrapped in bacon

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 20 medjool dates (bought at costco)
  • 10 slicesbacon (cut in half)
  • 10 teaspoons ricotta cheese
  • 20 toothpicks (wooden)
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 450 degree F.
  2. Make a slit lengthwise in each date and remove the pit.
  3. Fill each date with 1/2 teaspoon of ricotta cheese.
  4. Wrap stuffed dates with bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  5. Bake until bacon is brown and crispy(12-15 minutes)

These look delicious! I've never had them with ricotta cheese before... Question: Can you stuff these ahead of time and refrigerate over night?
