Author Notes

My BFF from Mississippi introduced me to this refreshing (and potent!) summer cocktail. It's easy, inexpensive and tastes a whole lot fancier than the ingredients it's made up of. Double or triple the recipe depending on the size of the jug you have to lug poolside, serve over ice, garnish with fruit and enjoy!

Warning: It is very dangerous to play flipcup with this bevvie. —HandRocksLadle

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 4 Light Beers
  • 12 ounces Limeade Concentrate
  • 12 ounces Vodka
  • Fresh Fruit
Directions
  1. In a large pitcher (or Gatorade tub if you're at the pool), mix four cheap light beers, such at Natural Light or PBR and one 12 can of frozen limeade concentrate. Fill the empty concentrate container with Vodka and dump into pitcher. Stir and serve over ice.

I have also made this with Tequila instead of Vodka (although we use 5 beers, usually Corona, to the one can of limeade) - and a bit of Triple Sec. We call them Redneck Margaritas :)

Oh yum, I will have to give that a try. Do you use a whole Limeade-filled container of Tequila?
