Roasted Red Onions
Author Notes: Onions have been used in Irish Cooking for such a long time, but this simple recipe was one I came across while doing some research about Irish Food. My 14 year old son loves these. He told me that he now prefers these to onion rings..! - Rachel Gaffney
Serves 4-5
- 2 Large Red Onions
- olive oil
- kosher salt
- freshly milled black pepper
- Pre Heat oven to 425 degrees F. Cut Onions in quarters and leave the skin on. Sprinkle with olive oil, kosher salt , pepper and bake for 40 minutes.
- Serve these onions with the skins on.
- These roasted onions are so deliciously sweet.
