Doughnut hole pancakes
Author Notes: This seemed like a strange recipe when I first saw it in Gourmet Magazine (I think). The donuts seemed like gilding the Lilly. Then I made them for the kids and I was sweetly surprised. I did, however, omit the sugar and salt from the original recipe because the doughnut holes have plenty of that already. - renee tatterson
Makes 6
- 1 dozen Glazed doughnut holes
- 2 Eggs
- 3/4 cups Whole milk
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- Preheat griddle to 375 degrees. Spray w EVOO or brush with melted butter.
- Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Drop 1/4 cup of batter per pancake on hot griddle. Cook for a minute and a half on each side. Remove from griddle and serve immediatley with Nutella and strawberries.
