White chocolate cake with dried strawberries

Serves 4

  • 75g white chocolate
  • 75g sugar
  • 125 milliliters milk
  • 125g ricotta
  • 125g flour
  • 1/2 packet yeast
  • 1/2 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 25g pistachios
  • 25g walnuts
  • 50g dried strawberries
  1. Preheat oven on 300F
  2. Ground pictachios and walnuts Beat the egg
  3. Heat the milk with the vanilla sugar. Bring almost to a boil, then remove from heat and add chocolate and sugar. Stir until chocolate has melted and mixture is smooth. Let cool for a few minutes then the ricotta, flour, yeast and egg. Combine well
  4. Add dried strawberries, pistochios and walnuts
  5. Pour into a cake pan and bake for about an hour. Cover with aluminum sheet if the top of the cake starts to brown too quickly.
