Author Notes: Turn down the thermostat, sit out on the porch; this mulled cider drink will warm you from the inside out. Erik Lombardo

Serves 1

  • 1 ounce Applejack
  • 1 ounce SNAP
  • 1/4 ounce Allspice Dram, or substitute a sprinkle of fresh allspice
  • 5 ounces Hot apple cider, or more or less to taste
  • Orange twist studded with clove, for garnish
  1. Heat apple cider until simmering then add alcoholic ingredients and garnish with clove-studded orange twist. Drink slowly, allowing each sip to strip away another level of tension.
