Author Notes

I love having roasted garlic around the house all the time. I often buy a large bag of peeled fresh garlic and roast it in the oven. Eat a bunch, and freeze the rest in small bags to use in everything. This garlic is great warm out of the oven on veggies, meat, or crusty bread. Yum. —aseraina

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • peeled cloves of garlic (a bunch or a handful)
  • sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions
  1. Rinse peeled cloves of garlic. Place as much as you want to roast into a large bowl. (I usually roast enough to cover a whole cookie sheet with one layer of cloves.) Pour in 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Sprinkle with sea salt. Spread out on cookie sheet. Roast at 350 degrees in oven until golden brown.
