Inspired by the home girl Eating Bird Food. We have created our take on her Blueberry Basil smoothie! —Clean Life Creative

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 2 cups Frozen Blueberries
  • 1 Frozen Banana
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 tablespoon Ground Flaxseed
  • 2 tablespoons Almond Butter
  • 1 cup Vanilla Almond Milk
Directions
  1. Place all ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend until smooth. Start with ½ cup of almond milk and add more if needed to reach the desired consistency.

The flavor of this takes a moment to decipher but in a good way. My 14 yo and I really like it but BIZARRELY, it sets up like it has gelatin in it. We ate it with a spoon! Could see topping with more berries (even a variety of them) and serving as a dessert.
