Creamy non-bake pudding with Matcha green tea powder. I have used Uji ceremonial grade fresh matcha that has a sweet taste and UMAMI flavor. You can adjust amount of matcha powder depending on your preference. —Rie

I haven’t tried it yet but it looks good. However, I have a question. Does it have to be powder? Does the powder have a substitute?

Thank you for your interest. I would suggest you use canned /bottled matcha tea as substitute for the matcha powder. You can simply mix the matcha tea with milk and cream. You need to adjust amount of gelatin though.

Wellp, I made this recipe and after consulting various other recipes I have come to the conclusion that 2 TABLESPOONS of Matcha Powder is *way* too much, six times too much in fact.

Are you sure you didn't mean 2 Teaspoons of matcha?
