Food52 Review: A popsicle for grownups. Aargersi's refreshing milksicles take all of 10 minutes to make and, on a hot, hectic day, can make all right with the world. The icy texture of the frozen milk contrasts nicely with the still pulpy cherry. Note: Once frozen, the flavors are more subtle so feel free to nudge up the honey or almond amounts if you want a richer tasting ice-pop. - Kristen —The Editors
Serves 3 zoku popsicles
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- pitted and halved cherries, enough to get quite a few in each popsicle mould
- Warm the milk with the honey and almond extract enough to melt the honey into the milk. Cool to room temp then chill in the fridge.
- Pour a little milk into your popsicle mould, then push some cherries down in there, then pour milk. Wait 7 minutes if it's a ZOKU, otherwise freeze til solid the way you usually do , remove, enjoy!
