This mocktail comes from Posana restaurant in Asheville, NC. —Julia Bainbridge

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 ounces beet juice
  • 1 ounce honey syrup
  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice
  • 3/4 ounce ginger beer (Posana likes Fentimans brand)
  • Tonic water
  • Orange peel, for garnish
Directions
  1. Shake ingredients with ice. Double strain over ice in Collins glass.
  2. Top with ginger beer and tonic water. Stir slightly and garnish with orange peel.

@Katherine, yes you can buy beet juice. Typically it can found in the juice aisle or sometimes where you buy Kombucha. If you have a Wholfood's you can probably find it there. I buy mine at Sprouts.

Question: I don't have a juicer. Way to get juice without one? Or can it be purchased? Can't wait to try this.
